Claimed they were windows calling me to tell me my computer was highly infected and asked me to go to my computer. she was Indian sounding and I told her I have great antivirus software and that I did not need their help. She told me she couldnt understand me lol

I received a call from this number with some Indian sounding guy saying he was from Windows Support and they had been getting messages saying my computer was highly infected. I have great protection so I told him I thought it was a scam. He persisted and I said I'd play along. He proceeded to try and get me to enter my registry file from the start menu, which if I would have done, could have given they access to my computer. I heard some other guy on the phone as well-sounded like he was listing in on the call-I heard him speak. After I gave the guy more grief he just said "f--k" you, f--k you and hung up! Tried calling the # back & guess what? Got a recording saying it was not in service! THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT TAKE THIS CALL!!!!!!!
