Someone used this phone number claiming to be from the Public Defenders office making up a criminal story to try to get people to send money through Venmo. Not saying its the person this number is tied to.

He took money and won't return

Weird text. Text saying "hi". Definitely a smish if you respond to it.

This man scammed me out of more than $6,000.00

I received an PayPal invoice via email with a $449 subscription transaction. Called the number and they wanted me to log into this website www.teamview.com to fix the problem. I didn't log in. Told them I didn't make the transaction and gave them the Purchase ID: 985839402B. I told them I didn't do this and he told me maybe I was lying to him. The transaction has not processed in my paypal account.

Received an unsolicited message on WhatsApp: "Long time no see, how are you recently" I did not respond.
