I live in Texas and do not know anyone in Kentucky. This number texted me and just said "Hello." Seems like spam.

Unsolicited, deplorable, sexually harassing text messages. Multiple AND they knew the proper spelling of my first name.

Creepy texts from this number all hours of the night male needing attention

False accusations provided to friends.

"Rob" Fraud/theft. Claimed to be widowed, bisexual, tells people he's at the Universal Hilton Hotel with his son on business and invites guys from Hookup website, Adam4Adam.com to his room. Then he tells the guy to please stop and purchase a "Steam wallet game card" and "lube" (for their interaction together). Tells the mark (typically older guy who wants to believe he is interested and that this is real) that he needs to stop at a CVS pharmacy and pick up this card because his son, who is in his own room will be able to keep busy playing games while he and the mark play together. He says he will "reimburse" the mark when he gets there. The unsuspecting mark agrees and he asks how much he should purchase on the card and he tells the mark to get 2-$50 cards and that "should keep his son busy for a couple hours at the least". Anxious to purchase the things he is asked to purchase, the mark does exactly this and heads over to the Universal Hilton which is not more than 20 minutes from his home. When the mark gets to the Hilton, he is told by the con artist that he will need to wait in the lobby and he will come down and get him because if he is a guest in the hotel, he can not use the elevator without a room key. The mark arrives at the hotel and calls the con man from the lobby as instructed. The con man tells the mark that he needs the game card code on the back of the card so he can get his son set up in his room and busy playing games so that he can then come down to the lobby and sneak the mark into his room for a night of fun sexual activity. The mark scratches off the pass code on the back of one of the $50 cards and takes a picture with his phone and sends it to the the con man. By this time the mark is sitting in the lobby for about 15 minutes now waiting for the con man to come and get him and bring him up to his room. The mark gets a text from the con man asking him where the other $50 card code is. The mark has by now figured out something is wrong because he's still sitting in the lobby and people are looking at him curiously wondering why he is still sitting waiting by the elevator. So the mark gets wise and asks the con man why he hasn't come down to the lobby yet to escort him to his room and the con man says he just needs a little more time to get his young son absorbed into the computer games so he can then safely sneak the mark into his room but he needs both game card codes before he can go down and get him. The mark has by now figured out he is being taken for a fool. The fact that he is older, he doesn't really know much about "Steam Wallet" game cards to begin with was why this con man was able to get this far with him. So the mark tells the con man he will give him the 2nd pass code as soon as he comes down to the lobby and gets him. The con man says he can't do that until his son is safely playing games. The mark asks why he can't just come down to the lobby and get him OUT of the lobby and he can hide somewhere down the hall on the con man's floor so his son won't see him. The con man says he can't do that because he is a "discreet father" and doesn't want to take any chances having his son suspect what he is actually doing. The mark now knows he has been conned and he leaves the hotel and drives home. Still with one unspent game card in his possession he stops at CVS on his way home and tries to return the unused game card but CVS does not refund prepaid game cards even if the pass code has not been scratched off. The mark is told by CVS to try and call the Customer Service at Steam Wallet to see if he can get his money back. The mark drives home having been humiliated, conned and ripped off and one more older man is taken for a fool by a young con who would rather steal from people than get a job and work for a living..
