called early morning saying he was my cousin from LA, would not say his name saying who calls you cousin.

This number is from Mexico. From the accent of the person, we know he is from Sinaloa. He called pretending to be a cousin, trying to get our address and some money. He would not give his name, and tried to get me to guess.

Someone called acting like a family member and trying to get information my husband thought it was his nephew but after the call he called the boys mama an found out it couldn't be who the caller pretended to be.
