Tried to sell home improvement work. Has called several times a week for months.

This call came in at 9:38 am with "Name not found" on display later this number showed up., but the young teen said to me when I answered: Hi Grandma, and he cried and said he was in trouble and needed my help. he asked me if I could keep a secret and that he was so embarrased and ashamed of what happened, I responed to what does he need. he said he was depressed and a friend booked a flight out of the are to get away from what is going on at home. (the thing that kept me listening was that his Dad, my son has a brain tumor and will not live long. so it was understanding that he was depressed. but I asked WHAT do you need. he said he got stoped in a car and drugs were in the rented car and he is arrested and needs bail money. OK then I said "what is you best friends name" he hung up. I knew it was not my grandson. Also he said he was in Peru

Calls all the time - knows my name - makes threats - can't block number - says will come over - what can you do about this type of call?

Saturday, 2/1/14, 12:40 p.m. Call came in from this , with "Name not found" on display. After brief delay with noise in background, man asked "Hello, ma'am, how are you." I responded in a normal manner/tone "if this is a solicitation, I'm going to hang up." He said "Thank you, anyway, for being rude," and he hung up. While I was not rude -- just matter of factly honest, I was fine with his response. After all, who was intruding on whose Saturday?!
