Setting up sites from reputable companies, like Walmart, T-Mobile, etc saying you will get a free laptop for doing survey, get the text all the time if you don't respond they switch it over to another well known company so people think thier filling out survey for company all they ask for is you to pay shipping and handling of product to your address, so you figure you send out a couple thousand SMS's at 2.99 shipping they collect the money never send product, well maybe they send some poor sap a laptop, they even show testimonials of people saying they received their prize, they do it once a week , usually on a weekend when people are home off of work, and keeps them less visible, then putting it out everyday, They explain for example " Every Sunday Walmart does a survey on customer service if you participate, we'll send you a free laptop," but now there starting to send SMS's with a picture to download, so you don't know what it is who it's from, so of course people are curious they download load it and you get Congratulations you have been chosen, etc. Got one more number to check , their approach is Thanks for paying your bill and a link that takes you to the same kind of site, of course people think what bill, I hope nobody's got my financial info so you go to link, same thing, don't even have account with the company, but pleaseople see free, couple bucks to ship it to me why not, that's alot of money someone can bring in just by sending out loads of SMS's all over the US, heck their probably overseas too.
