This is a SCAM DTE. DTE never calls you asking for SSN or Federal Tax ID Numbers

The caller said it was DTE and wanted to verify my social security number. I refused and they politely said have a good day and hung up

I received this call on Tuesday October 23, 2012. Since I did not recognize the number I let the call go straight to voice mail. This individual left me a message that this my name attached to legal claim came across his desk. He also stated that it was a time sensitive matter. I returned the missed call. The person who answered the call stated that he was Jack Williams of the Debt Resolution Center. He stated that I needed to speak with Alex Parker who was in charge of this case. He told me that my case # NG9687. He stated that I owed $200.00 to Cash Advance America. He never gave me the exact date of the loan. He said that it was a Pay Day Loan. I asked him for the telephone number of this particular company so that I can verify & he refused to give it me. He said that his company was a Judgement Recovery Service located at 425 Parkway Avenue located in Chicago. I told him that I would get back in contact with him after I verified with my bank if there was ever a $200.00 deposit made by this Pay day loan company. I told him that I would also verify with the company to see if I ever had an account with this particular company. I googled this number & I found out that these number is a scamming company. Also I googled the company Cash Advance America & I read that this particular company is being used by Scamsters to threaten & get innocent victims like myself to pay them different amounts of money. I called him back & told him that my line was being recorded & that If they continue to contact me I would forward all information to the proper authorities. I want them to be prosecuted!!! I am sick and tired of people calling my phone & trying to cam me. Kindly do something. Thank you for your cooperation with this pertinent matter.
