I received a call from (855)249-4342 yesterday regarding my SS. She left a message stating she was Ann Marie Livingston. She did have some details but needed more info. I returned her call and left a message and called several times without leaving a message but now answer. I became curious and did a reverse phone lookup and it said the number belonged to a woman in south Florida.. I am thankful that I did not reach her and did a little research. I will be contacting my local SS office.. Please be wary, thieves everywhere!!!!!

I received a call from 855-249-4342 x 2085376#. She said her name was Anne Marie Livingston (sounded garbled). We have been playing phone tag since Thursday, 26 November 2020. I returned the calls this morning, 30 Nov. 2020. She was asking for my date of birth, ss# and mother's maiden name. I recently applied for Medicare Part A and none of this information was requested. I went to the SSA.gov today and the first page that came up was about fraud. I came so close to giving out this information. I explained to her that the SSA.gov site discussed fraud and I requested this information in writing. She became combative and said, "fine I will send you a letter, you have 10 days to respond. The caller was from PA and I wondered why Florida was not contacting me since this is where I have worked and lived. She also offered to transfer my case to Florida. Please everyone best very careful. From now on, I am only accepting calls that I have either placed or in my contacts.

I applied for SS and received this email. Didn't call, but saw the other complaints on this website so I wanted to report.

this is not a scam it is legit if you filed a claim they are needing to talk to you about your claim 8552494342 claims to be the social security office with ext.2085296

This is not a scam. I checked with Social Security to verify the number was legit and then called. If you are in the process of applying for social security, someone from this office is probably trying to call you.
